William Houston, EMT-P, FP-C, CCP-C
Lieutenant William "Billy" Houston is a lifelong Robertson County resident who has been dedicated to serving his community since graduating from Franklin High School in 2015. He embarked on his journey with Robertson County EMS in 2019, starting as an EMT-Basic. Demonstrating his commitment and passion for emergency medical services, Billy progressed through the ranks, becoming an EMT/FTO and later attending TEEX ESTI to achieve his paramedic certification.
As a Paramedic/FTO for RCEMS, Billy's dedication and pursuit of excellence led him to obtain both Flight Paramedic and Critical Care Paramedic Certifications in February 2023, a testament to his unwavering commitment to providing top-notch care. Shortly thereafter, Billy earned a promotion to the rank of EMS Lieutenant.
Beyond his role at RCEMS, Lieutenant Houston extends his expertise as a Paramedic/FTO with St. Joseph's EMS and generously volunteers his time and skills as a firefighter with the Calvert Fire Department. His multifaceted contributions to public safety reflect his profound connection to the community he calls home. Lieutenant Houston finds fulfillment in giving back to the county where he was raised and cherishes the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of its residents.
