The breakdown for EMS billing is as follows

Level of service base cost

You will be billed at one of the following  levels based on level of care provided

• Treated without transport: $175
• BLS base rate: $1,400.00
• ALS level 1 base rate: $1,600.00
• ALS level 2 base rate: 1,750.00

Disposables / Consumables

These rates are added to the bill based on items used

• ALS Disposables: $400.00
• BLS Disposables: $250.00
• Oxygen: $125.00
• Blood Product Administration: $650

Mileage

Mileage is billed per mile from pickup to hospital. This is added to bill

• Mileage fee per mile: $24.00
